Bucks fizz, MJ's glove and my long lost cousin...

I'd be lying if I said last Wednesday wasn't slightly surreal.

It began with an invitation...

The Launch of Bath in Fashion 2013, 8.30 am at the Hall and Woodhouse.

Bacon butties and Bucks Fizz, now there's a way to kick off the day!

First there was migleing and a little bit of networking, its mainly about showing your face and representing the company you work for; we were very involved in Bath in Fashion 2012.

There was a speech and then we met Michael Bush whose designs were worn by MJ for over 25 years.

I did, I'm almost embarrassed to say, ask to hold M.J's glove....if you don't ask, you don't get.

Me, Michael Bush and my college

Yummmm!!

Some of Michael's costumes.

Afterwards, I went home and blogged a little, then came a message from my cousin from Northern Ireland. She was randomly over in England and came to bath to meet me. It was such a lovely surprise!

We had a fabulous dinner with our boyfriends. Lots of laughing and reminiscing about my granddad and her grannie (who were brother and sister).

It ended with a goodbye hug...

By far, the nicest day by random, I've had in a long time!

What I wore: A walk in the park..

On Zach's birthday, we had a pretty lazy day; breakfast followed by a mooch around town and a walk in the park. It.was.perfect.

Its times like these we realise how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful city. Especially in Autumn. Everything is more colourful and fresh.

Now, I'm not one for walking boots and anoraks so judge all you want. When I walk, I stick on heels and a Mac. It doesn't get any more sensible than that!

Mac- Tesco.
Jumper- Superdry.
Scarf- Serendipity.
Jeans- Levi's.
Boots- M&S.
Bag- Mulberry.

What do you wear at your most sensible?

What I wore: Tiffany blue...

In Autumn, all you need is chunky knits...

This reminds me of the outfit Audrey Hepburn wears in breakfast at Tiffany's just before she's due to leave for Brazil...

Jumper- F&F @ Tesco.
Trousers- Gap.
Satchel- Next.
Loafers- L.K Bennett.

Jeans- Levi's.

Forgive me for looking so strange in this pictures, I think a full time (and very full on) job, two blog's and busy social life is taking its toll! I will have to try and sleep more (or drink more coffee).

As I may have mentioned on Monday, I have been interviewing this week...I love my job, its so diverse in terms of roles and what I could be doing at any point in the day. Maybe I'm tired because I getting to grips with my new role, but its so worth it!

But Bring on Friday!

What I wore: Monday blues

Good morning to everyone. What a weekend its been!

As weekends go, I'm not usually able to take a whole weekend off work (being a manager and in retail, its semi impossible!), but it was my beaus birthday. We have done so much and saw so many people, that I feel utterly exhausted!

Its 7.50 AM and I'm propped up at my desk with the strongest coffee I could make. I know in a matter of minuets the caffeine will hit and I'll be a ball of energy.....won't I?

Anyway, so Zachs's birthday involved a walk in the park, a day in Bristol and countless food and drink dates! We also discovered a gin bar which may become our new local, despite being wine and beer people (we're getting old you see).

I'll do a post on it later this week. I've also got good news, the birthday boy has fixed my laptop! It still won't be in use for a while, but atleast I don't have to buy a new one. Till then, I'll be using his (he's nervous when I do).

Anyway that coffee has hit. I thought I would mention, I have decided to set up another blog. Its called  'The Daily Swoon' and it will be a mix of fashion news, current trends and anything Vogue related! Like I said; a busy weekend!
You can check out The daily Swoon, here;  http://thedailyswoon.blogspot.co.uk/

Ok time for some pictures:

Umbrella- Lisbeth Dahl.
Dress- Primark (I know!)
Gilet- Ted Baker.
Boots- M&S.
Tote- Mulberry.

Time for me to dash now. Today I'm interviewing for more staff. Eek!

Until Tomorrow!
