L'occitane...

I didn't go looking for trouble in the form of beautifully scented moisturiser, but it's what I've ended up with. L'occitane bullied me into it, in a charming, siren style fashion. You see, once I'm in, I can't not buy anything. And when they offer you an almost free gift, you really can't complain... I think I'm in love.

I'm suppose to be saving money...but I feel I'd do it much better with soft skin...

You can wear Burberry on dog walks, right?

I really don't know who I am. This time last year, I wouldn't walk in parks, go on picnics, I even avoided beaches. Why? Because I was scared of dogs. 12 months later, I'm begging, begging Zach that we look after one on new years eve, and that we take her on a long dog walk the next day.

I don't didn't even like walks, or the countryside for that matter.



One thing that will never change, is my outdoor get up. Burberry trench, mulberry hobo, chunky knits. Sue me. Hell, I wore (Joules) wellies, didn't I?

I might admit, I'm a little ashamed and a little smug I was bright eyed and going for a walk on new years day. But it was just beautiful by the canal and even in the villages on the way back.

Did I mention I got a roast dinner and pint (maybe that's what I love).

Bang, bang, bangity bang!

Yes, I got bangs. 

I'll admit, they are awesome. However, lets just talk about what high maintenance they require...having just had pretty short hair for years I thought I was prepared....

I do live in constant fear my straighteners will combust. Constant. 

And I feel a little like I have a wig on, which also makes me feel like a secret agent A la Salt.

But I also feel a bit Debbie harry and a little sixties.

Christmas snaps...

Happy New Year all! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

I'm trying not to get all depressed that Christmas is over, I really am. But I love Christmas. Food, family, drinking, relaxing. I slept alot...

Unfortunately, Zach got the norovirus, so new year was not as eventful... We ended up having a quiet one, a couple of drinks and a couple of friends. We also dog sat coco (she was an angel minus a muddy walk and an accident on the carpet!), as my parents went away, as did my brother.  On new years day we both woke up fresh as daises, which was actually very nice. 

We even went for a dog walk on New Years Day...post coming soon!
