Snow (its all white..)

Its been snowing/ settling for about three days now- which is lovely. Of course here in England, there is widespread panic (come the summer, we will panic about a heat wave- what? They are dangerous even in the small 3 day doses we get them..) and shop closing, panic buying bread and milk and the occasional person actually enjoying it. 

Bath is the prettiest city in the world (I'm slightly biased...), but with a snow blanket, it is just stunning... see for yourself.

I've got Ella Fitzgerald in my head, so figured coupled with the pictures, this title was most appropriate. 

Firstly I must apologies for the dark photos. Note to self- do plan to do your outfit post at the beginning of a saturday and then mooch all day, before running to take a picture before its night. Scatty I am, disciplined I'm not.

Shopping just got even better...

I love to shop, read about shopping, dream about it. But what's it like to watch a TV drama about one of the most fabous shops in the first of its many years? Amaze-balls. Yes. Amaze-balls. 

Its also got the same 'Downton Abbey' glamour, with a spoon full of romance. Just my cup of tea...

Basic cam...

I have got so used to using my Iphone and Instergram- I barely use my perfectly good camera anymore! So I've made a small new years resolution to do just that. 

Zach got me my camera (red- I also have a red laptop and Ipod) for my 21st birthday and I've not used it since getting my Iphone. 
Granted- the pictures he takes of my outfits on his amazingly posh SLR...but these were taken by my mum- and last week (I HAVE to get the date removed on the pictures-its just weird!).

This outfit is perfect for dog walking and shopping, which is what we did. Coco is so pretty she was even let in some boutiques, which was lovely!

My Mother: The magpie...

My mum has a thing for sparkle...or anything gold. I've wanted to do a post on my mums wardrobe for a while- She is a real life magpie! I can't tell you how many sparkly shoes she has...

The best is yet to come...

The new year has made me feel like I need something a little different to add to my look. I've been a bit weary of them before, but I'm defiantly giving the glasses a go from now on. There's something very 'buddy holly' about glasses, partially black rimmed ones. The fact I watched 'nowhere boy' recently has had an impact too... 

So these little beauties from Lensway, are just the ticket... you can pick yourself up a pair here.

Manic Monday...

And manic it was- Ever decided your going to do a million things at work before home time? That was me today! As long as I'm not bored, I don't care!

I've got bangers and mash a'cooking and wine a'drinking and soap opera a'watching.... There's no other way of de-stressing. 

So, Monday in fashion terms, I feel should be smart: its the start of the working week, and the first Monday of the year- today I mean business. And I want to look the business.

We took our Christmas decorations down last night, it makes me so sad! But I decided to keep up the fairy lights, life is brighter is with them!
